Our mission at TAG Mobile is to provide cellular service to those who otherwise would not have cellular service and do it in a caring personal way.
How do we do this?
TAG Mobile offers qualifying customers a wireless phone with anytime minutes included each month. The minutes provided each month are good for local and Long- Distance calling. There are no credit checks, no contracts, no monthly bill, no activation fee for TAG Mobile customers.
How is this possible?
TAG Mobile offers qualified customer our Lifeline Assistance program supported by the Universal Service Fund. Lifeline Assistance is a public assistance program that ensures telephone service is available for low-income subscribers at just, reasonable, and affordable rates. Lifeline eligibility is limited to one per household.
Who qualifies for this program?
If you participate in at least one of the following government subsidized programs you may qualify for Lifeline service. Lifeline eligibility is limited to one per household.
- Food Stamps
- National School Lunch’s Free Lunch Program (NSL)
- Section 8 Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
- Medicaid
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
Lifeline benefits are limited to a single line of service per residence. You may not receive multiple Lifeline or Link Up discounts. You may apply your Lifeline discount to either one landline or one wireless number, but you cannot have the discount on both.
